I'm new here to myLot and one other paid to post forum. I have a question. I see a few meaningful posts here and on the other site and have been introduced to some others as well, only to find the mostly the same topics which are 90% meaningLESS. I understand the concept now: Post New Topics = Earn More...regardless of content.
I am on the two sites, that I am a member, quite a bit and it takes FOREVER to get an amount worthy of the words that I write. I hear people here and on the other site raving about MANY sites they belong to and the payouts. I cannot imagine how much time is spent on these sites in order to finally "cash out". Are some of the members on the sites 24/7? There are many other ways that do require very minimum investments to earn a passive income.
Many times I use the internet to escape, so my mind does not wander and focus on real issues at hand. Though I still deal with those issues, it temporarily keeps me from focusing on them. Could this be a reason why so many people are members of these types of sites? Or is it truly about making a few measly bucks here and there? Surely you can't be making a living or even supplementing your income at any decent rate by participating. Or perhaps it is about making friends, which I have and I am truly grateful for the ones God has led me to.
Would you enlighten me?

I am new myself to this site friend, and it is not for the money part of it that has interested me to this site. The important thing is I get a vast exposure of "real" discussions & real issues with a hint of money floating in the air. I also think that this money part keeps the people decent over here and certainly nobody would like to be tagged as an abusive user. Somehow the entire concept works and is quite meaningful. regarding the topics covered and discussed its a matter of personal likes and dislikes over which we have no control, I belive. Somehow this site has caught my fancy and I have made some real good friends in here, proud to say you are one.
Happy mylotting,
Bodhi

Awww, thank you so much! It is great to have some great friends here! I enjoy REAL, quality communication and topics, with the occasional humor, but while browsing through, I see so many, what I call, worthless topics, in my opinion. Yes it takes some creativity and imagination to reach deep within ourselves and discuss or debate topics that we hold near and dear, and that is what I seek out here, for the most part. I have been guilty of jumping in to conversations that grab my attention for their humorous sides.
I can only surmise that those meaningless topics are started because the authors are merely wanting to add a little more to their banks.
Are you a Content Producer on Associated Content? You have great writing skills and I know your love of writing. If you aren't I think you should...I will give you the link, and no, I do not get a kick back for signing you up.

Mylot is community where you can make friends if you want to. I am not interested only in earning money, though I am always pleased at the end of the month when I check how much I made. I can always do with a bit of extra cash. However I do appreciate the genuine comments and friendship by the few regular mylotters. You get to know them more from the discussions and posts they make.

There is not a doubt in my mind why I am here now...when I wrote this original post, I hadn't been here long. Now I see my "friends". And now I have you to include in that group. Surely I have a growing list of friends, but it is those that I truly enjoy seeing valuable input from, that I can count on responding and that really have something to say.
Thank you, thank you, thank you....
