Friday the 13th remake

February, Friday the 13th, 2009 is the release date for the Friday the 13th remake. Have you folks seen the trailers for it? Youtube has them, so be sure to take a look. There's a teaser trailer, and a theatrical trailer. I think they both look great, but especially the theatrical trailer, (the one where it counts up to 13). Part of it shows someone distributing missing persons flyers for one of the victims. I know that's a tiny little thing, but it's an attention to detail that's been missing from these kinds of films. I've heard some complaints that say Jason shouldn't be running, and that he never runs, but that must be coming from folks that haven't seen part 2, 3, and 4, back before Jason became undead. What do you all think? Is a remake a bad thing for Jason, or is this just what the doctor ordered to bring back the old days of one Jason film per year?
