Why is it when you order a meal at like McDonalds or Burger King, that the portion size of the French Fries are always smaller? So if you give up some fries to your VERY hungry husband, there is none left for you. In order to get any, you almost have to supersize your meal. What do you think??

There is no doubt in my mind that EVERY restaurant is cutting down their serving sizes... the last time we went to Red Lobster (our fav), my husband ordered his usual double order of popcorn shrimp, but when they brought out our plates, he actually said something to the waitress about it appearing to be only a single order.... she went to the kitchen to check and came back saying they gave him a double order, but had cut down their serving size in order to keep the menu price the same. - I'm sure we will only see this more and more as restaurants try to keep their heads above water in this struggling economy.

Everybody is downsizing. Instead of the napkin holders being out so you can grab napkins yourself, they keep them behind the counter and only give you TWO. Even though you have a 5 year old (that right there you need at least three) and there is 3 people altogether. Me and my husband had to share one while my 5 yr. old had the other one. I guess i'll have to just carry more in my purse...

I definitely have to agree with you there. I have solved this problem by just ordering an extra small fry. If I supersize we end up throwing away part of the drink. Also my man is very thin and can afford to eat extra calories but LOL I"m more woman than I used to be.
