i have worked lot of hours yesterday and worked very hard in mylot. i responded to about 30 discussions and started about 8 discussions and also uploaded 3 images still i got only 37 cents. all my writing contained minimum of 4 lines i think. but the worst part is when i looked today about half of the discussions i replied have been deleted.

Yeah, pretty much what Sheepie said. Instead of spending time finding a lot of discussions and quickly replying to all of them, you should just find a few that interest you so that you can write quite a bit on them. Make sure they have quality because quantity is not as important. If you make your posts helpful and if you make your discussions interesting so you'll get more responses, I am sure you will start making more. I hope this helped! :D

what really does everyone mean by quality. mylot themselves have said they don't look at grammar and spelling of English so that is not the problem for quality. if one type about a discussions in about say 10 lines ,he is being as descriptive as possible. still may be the reader can feel it as boring hence good quality is shifted as boring one.

By quality, I mean giving your full knowledge and experience on the subject. Not just like agreeing or saying yeah I too would do that or something along the lines of that. Put more thought into your posts and answer the question fully and perhaps arouse another one.

Well, thats the breaks sometimes things just happens,it occurs to most everyone here on mylot discussions being deleted for one reason or another...some here have stated that you should should have at least 5 lines minimum,i haven't really studied the way to make alot of money here most of the time i'll earn around 1-2 or maybe 3 cent per post. Now, discussions are another area to itself that depends on how many replies a discussion recieves...yes,i know you are disappionted after so much work and very little to show for it...i like to reply to responses with no response but sometime those are the ones that get deleted becuase the author is not up with the terms and conditions about starting a discussions or replying to a discussion,i know when i first started here i got many of my posts to discussions deleted all you can do is keep on starting discussions and replying to them ...happy mylotting...

it's good that people like you encourage and help in mylot. this makes the mylot the best site for earning. it provides each other to mingle with others and correct their mistakes.today i have been concentrating on the quality of the content as everyone ask me too. i will come tomorrow morning and see how much money have i earned i just a single morning. is there any truth in typing 4/5 liners pay you better.

I have noticed that the best thing to do to earn money on here is to always sure to write a lot and of a good quality. It is better to have a few good posts than to have many not-so good posts. Don't worry as much about the number of responses and discussions that you make, worry about how good they are and how mind stirring they are. I think you really do earn money quicker that way. It feels easier too, because it feels as though you are working less.

i have tried that but it didn't work. one day i just did 15 discussions with lot of thought i answered each discussion .they were quit lengthy still had high quality. but what happened was i got comments on saying that it's too long i don't want to read it. and next day i got only 20 cents. and i think that guy rated me negative as well. i hope if there is some way that one can understand who marked negative and who all marked positive of course it will cause problems, still it is good to know.

I'm not sure if anyone fully knows exactly what the pay scale is or how they rate a quality discussion. I try to think of more "original" discussions as opposed to ones that you see several of the same topics. I often start discussions on things that have been on my mind where I ask people's advice on. If I can get several responses, it seems like my pay is pretty decent the next day. I have had days before though where I feel like I've worked really hard, but end up not getting much in earnings. I don't ever keep track of how many discussions I resond to though. I more or less just concentrate on the topics that interest me the most, and when I find a discussion I can relate to, then I write as much as I can while making sure to stay fully on the topic of the discussion. I think that may somewhat mean what a "quality" response is. If someone starts a discussion about one topic, why should you get paid if you start rambling about a different topic? I think the longer, more detailed response you can give while staying on topic, the more compensation you will receive. Of course I don't know this as a fact, I'm only basing this off of my personal experiences. Good luck with myLotting, and hope this information is somewhat helpful! :)
