Can animals really sense an impelling earthquake?

I must admit that when i heard this i suspected it was simply one of those myths which somethimes emerge at such times, like "signs and portents" in the sky.What do think about animals having this types of senses, do you think that they are helpfull or not?

I'm not convinced that they do have those senses. I think that they are often out of touch and can't really sense those things i think sometimes though they do sense things that we are going through and try to be helpful in terms of being our friends.
