How far are you away from family

I live like 6 hours away from my family and parents. Sometimes I find it hard to not have my family not so close t me cause my family is so close to one another. Do you live closer to your family or do you live further away from your family. Do they live in another city or country or do you live in the same city.

Oh wow, I wish I still lived with my parents, but now that I'm married it might be good that I don't live with them.

Yeah, its really better to have your own place if your already married. Cause its less conflict.

I'm 3 hours away from my parents and younger sisters. I thought I'd be so happy and wouldn't miss them this much when I decided I wanted to be away for college, but boy was I wrong!! I miss my mom's home cooking and my dad being weird, and my little sisters getting on my nerves! We live in the same state except I live north and they're down south. It's hard, but at least we're driving distance apart.

Yeah, I get the same way. I just miss it all together. Not only on top of that my brother and I were in the same city except for a couple of months ago, now he's in another country. He's in Iraq right now and I can't even call him I have to wait till he calls me. But yeah, at least your family is driving distance away.Mine too, but you have to take like a whole 3 days off to see them. We're in the same state, but they are east and I'm in the central part of texas.

I still live with my parents and they are two stories below me (my room is in the attic and they are on the ground floor) . My neices live in the same city, so do my uncles and aunt. I don't have much family that I am really close with. I have family in the USA and Canada aswell, but because of the big distance I hardly ever see them. Most of my family lives her in Holland though, in various cities.

I live 4 hours away from my family, they're in our home province and I'm in the capital region, working. I'll be seeing them tomorrow and will be spending my holidays with them :D I'm excited! Thanks for the comment on my discussion!

I am about eight thousand miles away from my loved ones and friends. Whenever I missed them and would want to be with them, it's very difficult because of the flight and the travelling takes twenty four hours to get there. And it's even more expensive to fly nowadays, so I can't do anything to be with them than just to talk with them on-line. It's always better to be with family or friends than to communicate on-line, but sometimes it's not possible to be with them.

I live about 5 hours from my family. The only family I have living in the same town as me are my children. It gets very lonely at times and many time I wish I could move back.

Most of my brother's and sister's live in New York and I live in Florida. So that's quite a long ways to drive. As for my kids, 2 of them live in the same city as me and my other one lives about an hour away so that's not too bad.

My parents are divorced, and have been since I was two, I live with my grandparents now and lived with my mom just two months ago, I moved out because my step dad is a horrible person. I live fifteen minutes away from my mom, and I miss her very much. My real dad, step mom, and little sisters live two hours away from me, and my littl brother lives three hours away from me, and he lives with his dad. He and I are not so close, but I would like to get to know him better before this glorious life of ours runs out.

My family lives in Missouri. 2 years ago, I had to go to this one camp for 1 week in the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. I was so excited, mainly because I got to get away from my parents. But by the time I was on the bus leaving for the Grand Tetons, I missed them already! Our relatives all live in China, so to keep in touch, we call them every 2 weeks. It's lonely here on holidays, because we don't have any relatives that can come. All of my friends' grandparents and aunts and uncles come to celebrate with them, but at our house, we usually have a small celebration.

Right now I live within 15 mins of all my family....I have lived as far as 14-18 driving hours though and that has its advantages and disadvantages. It is nice to be close to them again, espcially when we have had sooo many disappointments this yr. Its hard to be far far away during holidays though.....6 hours isn't tooo bad, when we lived in VA we lived about 5 hours from my husbands parents. We would go over to their home for the weekends...... Shihtzumama

I live with my family but during the day we are like 3-4 hours apart. Though we leave the house together in the morning, my siblings to their school, my parents to their workplaces and myself to school/work (I study and work together) - we all end up like 3-4hrs away from each other during the day. We normally dont get home till 9pm at night.

I am just a second away from my parents and brother. We are just living in the same roof. I don't think I need to stay away from my family since they give me strength always and inspirations. Anyways, how about you?
