Google VS. other search engines

My homepage happens to be Yahoo, but personally I prefer google over yahoo. Google Earth is useful, and so is the Book search. I think other search engines are sufficient enough, but google is so simple and pleasing to the eye to see such simplicity. Ask.com is also simple to use though, but I have not used it recently to have an opinion of it. What do you think?
