it's dangerous to have hypertension during pregnancy!

I saw a hypertensive pregnant patient in the emergency room the other day, she was having seizures because of severely increased blood pressure (we call this phenomenon as eclampsia in the medical field). She underwent stat caesarian section right away, but too late her baby died! after the operation, she also died after having another seizure (maybe because of severe brain swelling). You know what it's really good to begin having prenatal check-up once you discover that you are pregnant, thus preventing this from happening. (What i heard is the patient never had any prenetal check-up during her entire pregnancy thus it was too late to discover she was having problems all along!)
