Would you be surprise if the IRS get on there and claim they need a bail out? Are there another companies you'd be surprised to see claiming money blues? Everyone so far that gets the bail out has money and the people who are struggling the most gets nothing.

It's kind of sad though that the big companies get bailouts while the little ones do not. The saddest thing about it is that, most of the cases of bailouts like in the auto industry is the fault of the companies themselves since they were not able to improve their daily process to save money or make their products better. The government's hands are tied down since if they don't give the bailouts , millions will lose jobs and this will sink the American and global economy much much deeper.
I really hope that companies that failed because of bad business practices will be held accountable to this one way or another. Maybe giving some shares to tax payers at a discount or making a contract with the company to pay more taxes about five years from now. By this time such a company would have probably recovered some of their losses.

I agree Easter, they should all be accountable. (Or had a better accountant). In any event, I feel that money needs to be paid back by the ones who accept/ask for the bail out. I hope they don't expect the tax payers to foot the bill. We are having a hard enough time as it is with trying to maintain in this economy. Some are driving around in a Hoopty because they can't afford a car. To have the tax payers pay for that is simply "not right". I expect another big industry to claim 'help' soon enough. Now, what's really sad is all this mess did not just occur. The people at the lower income range has been feeling the strain at least since gas prices began rising.
