I first got a job when I was 17. I was in high school back then. And ever since I work. I go to college and work as well and I have no problem doing that. I have some friends who are afraid of getting a job although they have a class in two days. I think it's better to work while you're still in college because many employers ask for experience and you can't have field experience unless you work part time. What did you do? Did you worked during studies or worked afterward?

It was a part time job. I was starting to sell health products at the age of 17. That was my first job though it was not a full time. Still have earned a lot from selling. But now, I am currently studying and have further plans to finish my education.:)

I still got little experience but I want to explore more on selling. I really want to sell. I guess this is one way to get rich. Isn't it? Since Bill Gates would never be rich if he had not sold million copies of his software.

yes, i actually start working at age 20. because i never intend to find a job and my parents do not need me to work at all so... yeah that's cool right? but when I start working, i feel good to communicate with people and earn my own cash so i can buy my own stuff without asking my parents for money plus the best thing is that i can buy anything with my money without asking and need permission.

I have a part time job during my college. I use my spare time to send papers and teacher child at their home, I mean a tutor. I think we should do some parttime job. for one thing to earn some pocket money for another to gain some social experiences. happy mylotting.

Well, I have worked in 3 different places when I was in college. I even worked full time for 2 full months when I was in leave. Throughout my college life, I was been working and mostly part-times. I thought it was good to gain some work experience while studying in college itself which will also allow me to earn some extra cash for both my college expenses and for pocket money. But at those times I had poor salary, but I thought it was ok since I had not started my professional career at that time.

I work from the age of 14. First as a teacher assistant - I was helping kids smaller than me get home schooling. Then , at college, I washed stairs, cleaned houses, some pivate tutoring. It's always good to work, that's how you build your resume. The best, is to find something in the field you're getting your diploma. In this way, when you'll finish the college, you'll have the diploma and experience.
