How many of you think Subhash Chandra Bose was India's greatest hero.

Sorry Gandhians,I have heard from a couple of people active during the forties and read many times that people were fed up of Gandhi as India's independence was delayed,and they wanted to fight under S.C.Bose.There was a very large scale mutiny planned within the army and police to fight the British.The fear of all these resulted in the mysterious death of the great Subhash Chandra Bose.Sorry if you dont agree to this view,my request that this topic should not be made controversial.Please.

No alot of people know Subhash Chandra Bose.. unless u're from India... and ppl know abt Mahatma Gandhi.. coz he is world wide famous.... didnt' they say that subhash chandra bose crashed in a plane crash.. some say he is still alive.. hard to believe..

Yes you are right,very people outside India know Subhash Chnadra Bose.Yes that was the theory given by Indian leaders and British that he was killed in a plane crash.But there's a lot of controversy about that and there was no conclusive evidence about it.Now his being alive is not possible but many here beleived that he was alive till few years back.Thanks for responding despite being from Canada and am amazed that you know his name atleast.
