can you delete discussions you've started?

Out of curiosity, I started a discussion that I ended up regretting anyway because I got VERY negative responses and I kind of felt like I stirred the entire universe or unleashed a fiery dragon within, or activated a nuclear bomb. Now you get what I mean. IN cases like these, I don't want THAT certain discussion to appear anymore as it has only well....stirred the universe so on and so forth, and it will only continue to ignite emotions as long as it's still there. I don't want to feel rotten everytime I log in at my lot. So as much as we can't take back words being said, if possible, can I delete a discussion I've started? Because I can't seem to find the means of doing so anywhere.

Before I comment on your discussion, I tried to look at the terms and guidelines on mylot. But like you, I can't find any means of deleting a discussion. I think you should contact mylot about this. Happy posting my friend and Godspeed...

do u know how? you see it's my fault. I often just disregard terms and guidelines. So maybe i really missed the part which mentions anything about being careful with words. Uh-huh, my fault. I plead guilty.

Once you have posted it, there's no getting back with it anymore but it's not the end of the world already. You can send admin a ticket if you feel and that it is very compelling that it needs to be deleted then let them know about it. Admin is the only one who could deleted any discussions.

really? so there's a way? deleting is far better but i guess i'll have to resort to that if there's no other means of doing so

I don't think you can delete any discussion or responses. I too have some discussions for which i haven't got any response for a long time. Sometimes I feel like deleting them. But too bad, its just not possible, unless mylot updates itself and gives us some new options.

yah....to bad we can't at present. Or maybe in time if a discussion gets so inactive they'll trash it. i HOPE they won't trash my nice ones. I hope this is the first thing they'll consider for update

ooooh that's bad...:-( can we at least write someone and suggest that? I mean we are only human, we make mistakes, and we make awful discussions sometimes. Well, I guess I just won't have to open that post anymore to make me less disappointed.
