Chrysler CLOSING All Plants For At Least ONE MONTH.

United States

Today they announced that they will be closing all there american plants for at least one month. During the holiday season they usually close for two weeks but they are extending it to one month or longer. Most workers said they will be able to make it from their supplemental income and the umemployment benefits but many are afraid that their jobs may not be there when they do re open the plant. What are the people supposed to do? Do they wait and hope they have a job at the end of this or try and move on and find a new job but during these times that can be hard. GM delayed the building of their new plant that would have brought some much needed jobs and help. Many of the car manufactors don't know if they will even be able to pay their bills in the next few weeks. Ford is closing it's plants for an extra week for the holiday. If we lose that many jobs in an already very unstable economy than we will be hurting much more than we already are. Good jobs are hard to come by and many people have lost a great amount of money from investments and other sources. Something has to be done to help bring us out of this and hopefully it will get done before it is to late.

I guess this is what we get when greed and dishonesty rules. Years ago, they (whoever they are) said there was no right or wrong. It's just how you feel. How do you feel now?
