How to reduce TV radiation?

The radiation between a new TV with the watched TV of 7, 8 years is the same? How to reduce radiation? In the safe distance of radiation damage to people have also?

I have a couple of Himilayan Rock Salt lamps which claims it is supposed to fight the radiation through the house because of electricity, how true this is I don't know but i like the nice warm glow they give out, they are lovely.

I am not sure if they sell them in China i am in Australia, they sell them in the type of shops that sell incense sticks and mystical things...

hello there... well, i suggest you that buy a plasma or LCD tv... this tv sets are not giving much radiation and also pretty safe to watch it in near... but if old tv, you have to watch it pretty far because the radiation is too much if watch near...

Thank you for your advice, but to buy a plasma or LCD tv is a little expensive, the old tv I will sell it.

i hope you get an answer from this as i wonder about reports of radiation also. i've also heard pc's give out radiation and wonder how much we get when we sit in front of it most of the day like i do.
