What is the best free MMORPG available right now?

I kind of have these dilemma on what is the best free MMORPG available right now. My cousin suggested i play Cabal while a friend told me to play Tantra. This is crazy! I wonder what to play. This will be my first MMORPG experience! Can you suggest a game and some information about it?

i dont play MMORPG till now. its just that i dont have much time to play online as i always work infront of my computer 13 hours a day. and thats sucks i know. but what can i do i have to work for my self to buy those kind of things in the future.

And good conversations like here in myLot don't appear in most sites without getting into eachother's nerves because of lack of moderation and implementation of rules like deleting discussions etc. So i guess i should place online gaming behind me now before i can even start. I just downloaded Twilight instead of online games. Who knows, i may start the 100th discussion about Twilight lol!

Mylot and other paying sites are the reason why I quit playing mod. Really, its better to earn (and enjoy) than to spend in games even if you enjoy playing. Because you know what, those games are not there for life.
though I must confess that I don't regret playing. I have actually earned money from these games. Its not legal but...

Yes mod they are free to play. But you can buy for premium items and the better they look, they more expensive they are. You don't need to buy these premium items though. But they will make your life better in-game.
Take for example in Perfect World. A mount can cost you P100 minimum. You'll have that mount for life. You don't need it but its better to have one. First you'll travel faster and second, you're not cool if you don't have one 
Most premium items in level-up are permanent items. Whereas in E-games, you'll rent these items for a span of time. E-games items are cheaper but as I've said, they are not permanent goods.

I'm playing Ragnarok in a private server so that it's free.I also heard about Cabal and I want to try it someday. I tried RAN online but I don't like it. =)

Hi modstar :) I have a suggestion, try play Godswar its free and have a good graphic. If you dont want to download anything, try to play gaia online :) there are so many MMORPG site right now. If you like to play sims game, try to Secondlife :) Everything is free. Good Luck :)

The best for me is FLYFF. I think the first MMORPG that will allow characters in-game to fly using boards or sticks. I just love the game.

Your cousin is right. I haven't played Cabal but lot of my friends enjoy playing it.I'm playing Ragnarok right now.
