Would you be an organ donor if you knew they were gonna use your face?!?

I saw on the news yesturday that they performed the first FACE transplant! Now in my mind I am visualizing some one walking around with my face. I think it's strange although I understand the need for those with facial deformities or injurys from accidents.What are your thoughts on this?

don't worry about it .. your face or rather your recognizable face s that formed by bone structure. so just because someone has a full face transplant by donor the possibilities of losing your own face outline i imagine are very slim. the transplant is made form the facial tissue which in turn is formed via the bone structure. i am not doctor or scientist but it is my understanding ;)

Hi kedves! I understand it wouldn't look exactly like me. That's the visual I get in my mind though. Maybe I won't think it's so strange once I hear about it a little more or see a few outcomes. Sometimes your thoughts about things change from your initial reaction once you have time to let it "settle" a bit. Thanks for the response.

That sounds kinda creepy, I have to think about it some more.
No i don't think i would donate my face , i don't want to be burried without it.

That's really strange. I don't know if i will allow them to transplant my face on someone because i don't want other people especially close to me to mistake him as me. I can donate any organ except my face because that would be bothersome for people around who are used to see me.
