Books can arm us with knowledge and information, there are generally two ways in which we can have access to books:buying or borrowing. While many people are in favor of borrowing books, because it can save us huge amounts of money.but i think buying books best suits me and gives me the the greatest pleasure. well, what's your opinion?

I love reading and collecting books. Books are my most valuable assets that's why I don't want to borrow them. I suppose I don't deserve reading a book if I can't afford to buy it.

Acturally,I don't think books can be my assets if I just own it. So in my view it is dosen't matter if you buy them or borrow them. Reading is a kind of way to enjoy the life and to relax ourself so it is unnecessary to concerning about the book itself.....

I preferred to buy my own books than to borrow it from someone. Books maybe expensive but there are used shop of books where you can buy affordable books in a good condition. I mostly buy in this kind of shop to save money. I think the only time I borrow books is when I'm still a student and I always borrow books from our library. Almost everyday I'm in library reading books and magazines.

I love books and get great pleasure even from just buying a book, the anticipation of how much enjoyment I will get from it. Sometimes it can get a bit expensive though, so sometimes I will borrow books. The library is useful, but more often I will borrow from friends and they will borrow from me. This is really handy since we tend to like the same authors and types of book, so there is always something on the shelf which someone else will like. I have a good collection of cookery books as well as fiction books, and sometimes they are good for a bit of browsing and inspiration. Can't have enough of them in my opinion. :)

I would rather buy a book, than borrow one. Then I won't have to worry about accidentally dirtying or tearing the book, or how long I can keep the book and so forth. Moreover, I enjoy collecting books, so it's a pleasure to buy books.

I always buy my books. It makes me feel great to have my own. Plus I get to keep them unlike borrowing, of course. I love collecting books.

It is great to have a large collection of books. But I also borrow books, and only those borrowed I will read in one go. Most of the books I bought are still on the shelf, neat and clean. I thought I could have plenty of time to read the paperbacks I like so much when I got retired, but my eyes are now failing me. Pitty for the unread books. so, in financial consideration, better not buy too many books unless you are ready to read them in good time.

When I love a book I am attached to it. I don't like the feeling of having to return a book I borrowed and loved. For that reason I buy. I don't mind lending to other people, it gives me great pleasure to share what I love with others, but I would rather buy a book for myself than borrow it from someone. It's so nice to look at my bookshelf and see my books, neatly arranged, a collection of what I have read. Borrowing simply isn't satisfying for me.

I actually like to get books through swaps. There are a number of online book swapping sites like paperbackswap where you post the books you've read and then mail them to people who request them. Then you get a credit for each book you mailed and get to choose a book from their system per credit. It is a great site. I get most of my books that way. I don't like to borrow books because I then feel compelled to read them quickly to give them back. Also I have to worry that if I damage the book or spill something on it I have to buy them a new book. I just like to either buy books or get them from trading better.
