hi to all! everyone of us definitely has encountered pain. some of us encountered pain through injury, or after surgery, or even with ordinary events such as cutting ourselves with a knife or razor blade, or just banging our heads or other body part somewhere hard, or even with an incident of migraine or headache. in my case, when i encounter pain (especially toothache and post-dental surgery in the past), i just use Mefenamic Acid 500mg to combat the pain. but when my toothache worsened that i could not sleep, my mom (who is a doctor), gave me this ultra-potent painkiller, but i forgot the name. this same generic drug is being used (in a different dosage, of course) as a painkiller for horses! LOL. in case of headaches, i use paracetamol (or acetaminophen in the US). for migraines, ibuprofen. how about you guys? what medicines do you take when you have pain?

hi there saichandtalluri! i've heard of crocin before. i think crocin is available in my mom's pharmacy as well. maybe i'll ask about it later to my mom. =) but if you can provide me with additional info, what is it's generic name? how effective is it? and does it have any side effects? thank you in advance and more power to you! =)

I always use Excedrin for headaches, it is the only thing that works fast and completely. Excedrin is a mix of acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine (which supposedly makes it work faster). For any other kind of pain, I would use ibuprofen or naproxen.
