Theres a lot of variety out there to choose from for candy, but which do you like best? Which do you reach for 1st? I personally LOVE Mars bars cause I love nuts (pretty much any kind, including almonds). My favorite nut though is a tie between walnuts and cashews. Years ago, they had a candy bar out that had nuts in it and that was my favorite, but then they took them out and the bar just wasnt the same, so I stopped buying it. I cant remember the name of that candy bar though.

Thats a good choice for a favorite. I love reeses. I like the cup more vs the pieces and I dont know if they still have it, but when they came up with putting a cookie on the bottom, that was good too, along with putting little nuts in it. Yummmmm! Theres nothing like chocolate in your peanut butter. Thanks for your comment.

I think my favorite candy bar is the Milky Way. I like lots of different kinds but a nice creamy Milky Way just hits the spot.

Lindor Truffles, the dark chocolate type. If I can't get those, I settle for any thing with dark chocolate.

They say dark chocolate is healthier for you too, the 'healthier' chocolate. Its not bad. I enjoy it and I just adore truffles.

This is a pretty good discussion and I know that candy is very popular among people because it is a sweet treat, that no one can turn away, and candy can make an excellent dessert after a meal especially since there are so many different kinds of candies whether they be sour,or be extra sweet,or whether they be coated and or dipped in chocolate or something else, and I am sure there are people who have a favorite type of candy bar, either because of the way it tastes,or because of what is on it,or maybe even because of the way the package looks since looks can be a big factor on whether someone likes something or not, because if the packaging is shiny and nice looking,it is more likely to attract the eye,and then I am sure there are probably people who either do not have a favorite candy bar, because they do not like candy because they think it is bad for you,and they try to only eat healthy things like fruits and vegetables,or because they are big chocolate fans and have always liked a lot of different candy bars,so they can not pick just one as their favorite so they will eat whatever candy bars they can get a hold of,and that is cool that you love Mars bars, because you love nuts, and that is cool that your favorite nut is a tie between walnuts and cashews, and I am not sure if I know of the candy bar you are speaking of,but I can understand that if they changed it that it would not be the same, and I have always been a big fan of candy bars and I have always liked Butter Fingers,Snickers, and my favorite has and always will be Mr Goodbar, because it just tastes so good, and when I eat one I find myself wanting more, even though I do not eat a lot of candy or at least chocolate candy because I have sensitive teeth so chocolate tends to hurt my teeth, and I am also allergic to chocolate, and if I eat a lot of it,it causes me to either sneeze a lot,or start itching like crazy which is never fun,but I do eat it from time to time, because I could not see myself avoiding chocolate completely, because that is crazy.

Well I had a question singling out 2 candy bars and figured, why not broaden it and have more choices? Yeah, candy is very popular, among being very yummy and people love candy. I know I do, a little too much lol. I would have like 2-3 different kinds of chocolate bars in my stash personally, probably, depending on my funds at the time, Mars, Reese's, Mr Goodbar, Cadbury and when I can, Godiva...yummmm! I dont really care for Butterfinger though. Dont like the texture. Also, you have a good point about the packaging. I didnt think about that. Presentation is everything and if something looks attractive, you want it or at least wanna check it out. Everyone likes a nice display. I think the candy bar Im trying to remember is Summit, but not sure. All I can remember is that the original version had the little nuts on top covered over chocolate and when they changed it, they took the nuts out (my big selling point) and added hard to eat caramel...yuk, so I stopped buying it. I believe they stopped making the bar, unless its Summit. I think they still make that, but not sure. I had also thought it mightve been Whatchamacallit (sp?), but I dont think that ever had nuts on it. I think they just added caramel to it and I didnt like that. I like caramel, but it doesnt go good with that bar, in my opinion....too tough. Ive never bought it again since then either. I couldnt imagine being allergic to chocolate though, or not being able to eat it. I think Id die lol. I feel for ya there, but at least you can enjoy it sometimes. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts.

I totally agree with you on that. Anything chocolate is my friend lol. Cant get enough of it, thats for sure and if it has nuts of any sort in it, thats a huge plus for me. I just love chocolate, but chocolate with nuts is grand.

You can't go wrong with anything candy but I think my favorite it the Reese's peanut butter cup. Whoever came up with the combination of peanut butter and chocolate is a genius!!!! I think my favorite nut is the cashew but I also love pistachios. Nuts are addictive, once you start you can't stop! The Payday candy bar has a lot of peanuts in it so does the Baby Ruth.

Well, I disagree with you on that. You CAN go wrong with candy, well, with me anyway, cause if you give me fruit candy, yuk lol. I cant stand gummy worms, or gummy anything for that matter. Double yuk lol, but Reese's is a great choice. Yeah, whoever thought of mixing peanut butter and chocolate together IS s a genius and when they mixed nuts in with it? Can I say YUM?! They even had one out (may still be out) with a cookie at the bottom. That one is good too. I dont think Reese's came out with a bad candy bar, really. Oh, and pistachios are very good (very expensive too lol). I agree with you on the nut addiction. Theyre like pringles in the nut category, if that makes any sense. Payday is ok, but many times I need my chocolate fix and Baby Ruth is good too. The only thing with that is its messy to eat, unless you get the bite size. Thanks for your input :-)

Oh yeah, Kit Kats are good and Cadbury too. Ive always preferred peanut to plain though. Have you ever had Godiva chocolate? THAT is ABSOLUTELY DEEE-LISH! If youve never had it, and are a chocolate lover, you gotta try it. Its somewhat pricey, but SOOOOO worth it lol. Thanks.
