do you have a limit on the # of gifts your kids get at christmas

I dont have any kids, but if I did I would not put a limit on them. Maybe a price limit, so however many I can get for say $1000.

Here in our house, all the toys come from santa and all the clothes come from us. They usually get one expensive pricey gift that is from us. We don't go crazy, but the kids always have a good christmas.

no when i was a kid i never had any limit on gifts, family gives what they want to give and thats it.

We set a price limit of 75.00 per child.. my husband has a big family so the kids get alot of gifts

I can't put a limit on what other family members or friends give my son for Christmas and I don't have a limit on myself either. Sometimes I give him one big present, sometimes many smaller ones. It's not the amount of gifts that counts and he wouldnt' be any happier if he got 100s of gifts or just one. Christmas shouldn't be about the gifts.

We go by amount but try to keep both kids equal as far as, they both get 6 gifts or whatever, even if we have to buy something small to even it up. Both of my kids want Nintendo DS's this year and then they will get games with it and some other small items.

no I never did. I only had to buy for one child that I brought into the world so that made it very easy.

well my kids are too old for santa, but yes i limited the number of gifts that i get for them.
