Finding Love on the Net - Is it Safe?

Since many people are now drawn in chatrooms, web messaging and the Internet, do you think it's possible to find real love there? How would you know if you are just one of dozens of girls he chats with? How would you know if everything he tells you about himself is real? With all the maniacs out there, are you even safe to open your web cam for the person without running the risk of being harassed verbally?
You cannot real tell if the other person is being true to you on the net. Women should really be cautious on the people they chat with, especially if perverts would ask small favors like showing them your sexy pictures...I'm sure you'll already smell a dead rat if you find one. Believe me, it's not worth it...Trusting these men on the net will just bring you heartaches, especially if you've given them your ful trust.
Well, another option is to play it cool. Just think of chatting as a fun way to get rid of stress. So, don't make it anything serious. Always remember that there's nothing wrong in looking for friends but do choose friends with caution.

It is safe as long as you take precautionary measures when finding love on the net. Always remember that you have the option to ignore. How would we know if he is telling the truth, then how will he know if you're telling the truth? You're even. With the maniacs, you can, again, use the ignore technique. I know because i've been into this before and i've had relationships which i found on the net. It developed into real and legal relationship much like what others who don't go to the net have. You don't need to find love on the net, love will find you wherever you are.

Yes, you have the option to ignore those maniacs on the net but most of them will try to be friendly at first and then later on, you'll realize he's just one of those. And I'm not saying that only men do all that harassing - there are also a lot of aggressive women you'll meet online. I like your last statement, "you don't need to find love on the net, love will you wherever you are"... :D

well for me, finding love thru online is not safe..what make i say this? because i have read a lot of forums that says how unsafe it is...no matter anybody became successful on this...but majority isn't successful why? there's a story between a girl who have been believed to be killed after marriage because of the kidney need...there's also a story of my friend that his husband divorses her...nationality is really different..it's good if your really know the person personally..or try to know him/her better long...not just online but in real life.
