I think I have watched countless nativity plays in my school days and interesting how this timeless story of the Birth of Jesus Christ is always interesting and always reminds us of the true meaning of christmas. Today was my first time to see my child in her school nativity play at the end of school concert and she was one of the Angels. We took one of her white party dresses and her pink fairy wings and she had a white and silver 'halo' made at the school, all so pretty all the kids looked sooo cute! You can't help the aaahs and awwws as they are just so cute as they sing and recite... I took pics and vids most of the time and was a very proud mummy when she and another little girl were the ones chosen to hand the pianist her thankyou presents Do you enjoy watching nativity plays? Were you in a nativity play? What were you? Mary? Joseph? the Shepherds? the Angels? Have you been to see your kids in their nativity plays? What were they? Do you like watching 'christmas plays'?

my grand daughter was in one at church but in the choir and they didnt dress them like angels just had them set and sing. She thought it was funny when our next door neighbor came out dresses as a wise man she started cutting up . oh my she is a rassgal. But it was all so cute and they did it like they just threw it together but it really did turn out nice.

I have not been in a Nativity play, but I do love to watch them. I did not see that many when I went to school, either we were going someplace else, or there was not that many of them. I do remember a couple of them. I love the ones shown on Tv that are part of a TV drama or when they go to this small town and film the play. So I guess I missed a lot when I grew up.

Hi ya marinia321 Well my eldest (7) was a Christmas Tree this year and I was disappointed when he told me but it was a specific role and he was great! My middle son did his nativity for the first year this year and, like his brother, was a shepherd for the first time! He was the one that was waving at me and blowing me kisses from the stage! Ahhhh! I am on my way now to pick my youngest up from his pre-school party where he and his classmates are going to sing some Christmas songs which I am really looking forward to as he is so cute! I love watching all the kids doing their nativity and I think it means a lot to them too!

When I was a child i was an angel in a christmas play that we did at church. I like watching plays if i know someone in them. My children are too young and havent been in any plays yet but I know that I will enjoy watching them when they are.

Nope, i have never really been into christmas, even when i was a kid, still schooling.. hehe ^_^ As christmas falls in december, and it happens to be our yr end long holidays too, thus we will never have such a play to celebrate christmas together with our classmates ^_^ And even if we wanna do it early, it's not possible too, as our holidays start as early as mid november.. lol =D That's why, i have no such experience, be it as an audience or being part of the play ^_^

I don't think I have seen a Christmas play to tell the truth. I remember a play back in elementary school but as to what it was I am not sure. I think that Christmas plays on Jesus Christ are very nice though, and would enjoy watching them. I am not yet a parent but if my child were to be in the play I would be very much proud of her or him.

And indeed I was very proud...as I do not recall being in a play myself and when I was old enough, I'd always shy away Merry Chrstmas

I love Christmas plays at schools. My four children are grown up now, but I loved going down for the annual play and carol singing night. Watching little kids do their thing never fails to bring a smile and a tear to the eye. Bless them!

I love the concerts, this one had the nativity play and my four year old has been singing the songs for a number of weeks at home so we were looking forward to it so we were very excited today! They all looked so adorable and happy to show the parents... and we the parents were grinning!
