Quick question to anyone who blogs on Today.com: is it horribly, horribly unreliable or is it just me? Every time I try to post, it takes half a dozen attempts to open the blog-posting page. It just seems quite awfully slow and twitchy. My connection or site overload?

I just started blogging at Today.com but I can't seem to enter the right pages to the Blog Control Panel. It takes me signing in and out and around and around and around before I finally reach the panel. By that time, I'm so tired to blog. So frustrating!

Mine just goes to the control panel, but no further. Takes six or seven attempts to get the posting page. One idea - have a look at your cookies. Delete the Today.com one (or all of em) and make sure you're letting their site leave a cookie: that has fixed a million problems like yours on my PC!

I have trouble accessing my account pages sometimes, but not usually. It's hard to say whether they don't have enough servers or something else is getting in the way. If it's been happening to you just in the last few days it may have something to do with the software changes. They completely changed the way you access blogs from the home page (very much for the worse, I think), and changes that big always come with glitches that have to be worked out. They're also going to be changing everybody's blogs to the same theme, but I don't know if that's in process or when it will happen. I've been temporarily banned from the forum, so I don't know what the h-ll is going on there. I'm getting kind of discouraged about Today anyway, and all this new crap isn't helping. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Ah, right. I must have arrived just after all the changes, since I'm pretty new there. Posts don't seem to be getting checked or credited for me at the moment, but that's normal at the outset of most things. I shall persist a bit and, if it all gets squiffier, just stick with my Orble blog instead!

The front page change happened just a couple of days ago. If you don't go there very often, you wouldn't have noticed.

I have been a member for three months. I rarely have problems logging in; my guess is that the problem is on your end.
