What do you think is the best investment option. I watched this on TV the other day..the top 20 best investment options...Although I think it varies from country to country, I still think investing your money on something you are familiar with is the surest way to making lots of money. Among the top 10 on the list include investing on property, investing on jewelry, opening a saving's account or time deposit account, investing on bonds, the stock market and on mutual funds...Guess what is number one on the list??? They say it's paying your debts...Since you are free from debt, you can now feel good knowing you have money to spend..Besides, paying off your credit card bill can assure you that during times that you don't have any, you can use it again. Just make sure you pay it eventually...

I absolutely agree that the most important financial thing that you can do is pay off your debts. If you have a lot of credit card debt, pay off those cards with the highest interest rates firs. Everything that you listed as being among the top ten are all good solid investment vehicles. When you first start, concentrate on building the most liquid assets first ie savings account, time deposit, investing in stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Good luck

Thanks. It's true. I have haven't tried mutual funds, stocks and bonds yet coz I don't have a clue about it. However, with a savings account, it will take you years before you can say something good about it's interest. As for gold, I am into that but gold jewelry is like frozen at the moment. A property is still good. So far mine has increased a bit, although my aunt tells me it's fluctuating. At this time, buying bonds from the government seem like a good investment option...
