what makes the world go 'round?

I have learned that it is not love that makes the world go 'round. That is what I had always hoped. But it is MONEY that makes the world go 'round. I guess I have always known that but with being out on my own and having a family I have realized it is true and there is nothing we can do to change it. I am very happy withll my life. The only thing I ever really stress about is MONEY! There just never seems to be enough to pay this bill, get this child new shoes, get me a new hair cut, to get my fiance some new razor blades, or to get the oil changed in the car. Do you ever feel this way? Do you think it today's times - money makes the world go 'round??

I think that love still makes the world go round. At least the love of money! I think that our society has become obsessed with money. Making it, keeping it, and spending it. I do not think that this was always the case, but maybe I am wrong.
I believe that most people today will do just about anything to make some money. No matter who is hurt in the process. I think that many people run on a bussiness mentality and only want to earn more and more. I also agree that most stress is about money related problems.
Maybe if we got rid of all the money in the world, we would be better of lol...

Yes, I do think that is the answer! Just get rid of all the money and then all of our problems will be fixed! lol Thanks for the response though!

You know maybe you are right...Maybe we get along better a long time ago when we only have the barter system to trade. Maybe, we do not give much ado with getting the "fair share". But when man started to standardize everything, we started to measure everything by the dot, making sure we only give what is fair...Hmmm...
