I wonder of the name Michael has ever been off the top ten list of boy's names. And although I'm not surprised Isabella is on the top ten list of girl's names, I am shocked it is number one. Thank goodness Apple and Homer didn't catch on. Those are two babies that should sue their parents when they grow up.

At least Apple and Homer's names wouldn't be partial profanities like Shatass!

Or Shatass. I am a juvenile intake officer and one of my cases is a girl named Shatass. When I was pregnant with our DD, we thought long and hard about her name. My husband and I both agreed that names like Shatass and any version or spelling of the word Miracle was out. I have several cases at work with children named Miracle or Myrycal or Ca'Miracle or whatever. I think it's absolutely insane. But I digress. When we picked our DD's name, we went with Allison for her first name. I have always liked it. My DH had no problems with the name and we knew that when she started pre-school or kindergarten, she wouldn't be one of the 50 MacKenzies or Briannas in school. Allison isn't used that much anymore, but we both liked the name. I absolutely can not stand the name Caden or any of it's spellings. I also do not like Jayden or Aiden. I also can't stand most of the -son names. Jamison. Jefferson. Christson. If our DD was a boy, her name would have been Ryan Jeffery.

Shatass? That poor child! That is one of the worst names I have ever heard of! That was worse than Pink naming her dog F***!
