toasters

why don't theye make a toaster that fit's a full slice of bread without some sticking out the top

Yes! Why dont they. It is annoying that the top of the bread is not toasted properly. I really do not know why this is. Maybe because it might be harder to get it out or something but I have to use a knife anyway (not recommended). If the bread went down into the slot further and the popper up thing popped up higher this would sort it out. I think we have to complain to all the toaster makers out there to fix this problem for us.

i use chopsticks to get mine out when needed,1 is all ya need

It's not the toasters. It's the bread. The slices are larger than they used to be. Portion control still being a problem for most of us. Bigger isn't always better.

I think it's because you need something to get the bread out :(-- in which case, they should make longer toasters with a little metal plate you can pull up that pulls the bread up XD... *invents new idea...*

I agree with you entirely! We just bought a big new 4-slice toaster which will take very thick bread but it doesn't like tall bread! You have to sort of force it don into the slot and grid. I guess the answer to this is in the category of 'where do odd socks go in the washing machine?'
