Jeans...which ones?

I am always on the hunt for a great pair of jeans. Being 5'2" and curvy, it can be a challenge to find jeans that fit comfortably without looking like mom jeans. I want to wear jeans that are in style, but not have ....uh, body parts hanging out, if you know what I mean. What company makes your favorite pair of jeans? Which style(s) and silhouettes do you love most? Share your secrets! Also, where is your fave place to get those fabulous jeans? If you've found a place to get them on sale, let me know! Thanks!

I love Hydraulics, they are flared, fit well and are not too long(I am 5'3"). I believe, they also have a line of jeans for full-figured women, look em uo if you haven't seen them. You can buy them at Macy's,most department stores, stores like TJ Maxx and,of course, online!

Oops, I guess I overstated my curviness. I'm not full-figured, really. I wear a size 6 usually. I just meant that I have hips. I'm not a rail-thin pre-pubescent-boy type of body shape. ;-) Thanks for the input. I haven't seen or heard of Hydraulics, but I'm going to check them out!

well i dont know which country you are from but the brand of jeans i wear is found everywhere in the whole world...... i love levis and i should say that i am a little on the curvaceous side too and i go through a real tough time finding a good fitting jeans for myself..... one day i went to this sale in the mall where levis was there too and thought why not go and check out the fitting and i have bought this pair of jeans which i wear practically everyday...no matter if i lose weight or gain weight....they always seem to fit perfectly/.....its like they know what i want...what kind of fitting i want at that time..... :P i have tried pepe too many times but havent gotten a good fitting,..... plus there is spykar jeans which have good fitting only in some pairs.... so you reallu have to dig into the stock they have in spykar.... so all the best ... i think you should try levis first !!

Boy, you are singing my song! I am exactly the same way! ANd to top off the fitting problem, jeans are so expensive!! But at Kohl's I found a pair that fit really nice - I watch for them to go on sale for abou $22 a pair down for $30. THey havea specific waist band that stretches and makes them fit better and they are a higher waist..well normal waist area -not the low riders or hip-huggers as they were called in my day! And they are high risers either! Just right at the waist and keep everything inside! Lee is the brand and they have a big red sticker tag thing that says about the 'comfortable fit waist band"... it is!
