I save money by making an automatic deduction from my paycheck. Even before it reaches me, a set amount of money is already transfered to a savings account. And I can't withdraw the money from that savings account anytime I want it. I specified a time when I could withdraw it without penalty. (Usually, after a year, and then I transfered it to my "major" savings account). That way, I don't have to worry about the money that I have to save coz that is taken care of for me. I made this arrangement with the bank. With regard to spending, nowadays, I try to limit my spending. I love to shop but I am also practical. I know that I cannot keep up with my shopping habits if I don't rein myself. SO I made a decision to control myself and so far it's working.

Apple, you just give me an idea. Next time that I have enough money to save in the bank I will do the same. Thank you for the response. :)

I have 3 accounts at the bank.My Atm,wherein its where I get my outgoing and my incoming expenses...I have my Bank book, where I usually save my money purposely for saving sakes... I have another account that I am taking 10% of my net monthly income deposited there and I erased it in my mind that that deposit is mine... No matter what happens I never withdraw money from that account...As if pretending that I already spend it...Yeah, at this point of time, we have to learn to spend wisely.. Filipinos especially has this weakness of enjoying the bargain sales. We tend to buy things that are not needs but wants...We always go for quantity not quality...We keep buying Bargain sales even we dont need it because we are taking advantage of the Sales...If only we realize that sales is not sales at all.
