New Chevy Silverado-Wiring for trailer or extra rear lights

I have an LED strip light for the rear of my Silverado. Since the Chev has separate wires for stop and turn, do I need an adapter or can I wire this myself somehow. The truck has 5 wires. Stop. tail, ground and 2 turn. The light only has 4, as would a small trailer. How do I wire this so I get all the lights working properly? Thanks.
