ASMA MOHAMMED RAFI, the Omani contestant of Zee TV`s music reality program SA RE GA MA PA 2008 was eliminated last night. The hugely popular girl and heart-throb of millions of people who have been watching the program could not move ahead due to her average singing. Her success and her advance so far stemmed not from her singing but from her personality, attitude and her hilarious speaking of the Hindi language that had millions in convulsions of laughter. Everybody including the judges were sorry to see her go but they all came to her rescue when she was offered the chance to anchor the show along with Aditya Narayan. So we can still have a bellyful of laughs as she continues to tittilate our laughter glands and entertain us.She however has vastly improved in her Hindi language and she did give a jibe to Katrina Kaif who could not speak a word of Hindi in the Salman Khan episode.Katrina should be ashamed of herself when an Arab girl has learnt the language in a matter of months and she can`t speak it even though she has been here for a much longer time. Asma, we all love you.
