can anybody knows why christmas is celebrated??

I'm surprised at this question Yadav. This is no myth or story. Christmas marks the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The name Jesus itself signifies “Redeemer”, for He will save His people from sins. At the appointed time, He offered Himself as a living sacrifice on the cross to save His people from sin. This great sacrifice has saved millions of people from sin today. Santa Claus is the affectionate name given to Saint Nicholas, who in fact, gave the poor children toys on Christmas.

Christmas is the celebration of the Christ child, Jesus Christ, we celebrate his birthday on December 25. The tradition of Santa claus is just a legend, st. nicoholas was a man who gave out gifts to children at christmas time, and from there we get the tradition of exchanging gifts, santa claus is often called old saint nick.

sadly i dont know much but i do know that the "christian" christmas was created at this date to make an option to pagan holiday "yule" even though its been proven its the incorrect time of year for his birth.. and i think there was a saint nick that did charity or something by giving gifts to kids but other than that i dont know anything..

Christmas is the day that Jesus Christ was born. That is what Christmas is really supposed to be celebrated for. I am not really sure how the whole Santa thing started but it is fun.
