india:people get killed
pakistan:people get killed
india:3 test series this year
pakistan:1 test series this year
india:hosted IPL even with terror threats
pakistan:got many of its tours cancelled
india:people inspecting the security issues SATISFIED WITH THE SECURITY PROVIDED
pakistan:same people NOT VERY SATISFACTORY
india:finally called off champion league
india:provides about 85% of icc revenue
pakistan:not that much
is this some kind of double standard followed in cricket where india and pakistan are concerned?

Oh man this is the problem wit us..we critisize all other others and in the meantime we critisize ourselves..India has all the rights to stop the players from sending to pakistan because from the president to a small child even one is corrupt in their land..they could themselves kill our players and then blame it on terrorists..this is their standards..its not the power of BCCI or others..its Indian governments decision decision..I as an Indian support their decision because its time to teach them a lesson and give back what they gave us and not play a game of cricket with them..happy mylotting...

This is not double standards and world is no fool. Pakistan had USA money and backing so it kept backing terrorists.. This is the difference. Terrorists are no ones friend as USA has find out in 9/11.. They paid for giving arms money and political support to bil laden to fight for them in Afghanistan against Russia.. but the thing is Pakistan govt supports and funds terrorists activities and Pakistan is epicenter of terrorism that is why world stops coming to Pakistan and India was justified in canceling tour of Pakistan because you cant play sports witht the country which is sending terrorists in our country. It isnt surprising all 10 terrorists in Mumbai Blasts were Pakistanis.... Ever thought of that why no one was surprised that all were from Pakistan?

I don't know about the ins and out of it all to be honest and I don't know if it's double standards. But I would definitely not set foot inside Pakistand for any reason with me being British and being Indian when you hear that people are being targetted for no reason other than they are not Muslim in these terrorist attacks. I fully appreciate why India has called off the tour. All the cricketers families must have put pressure on them to back out as well, if it was a member of my family I would tell them to steer clear of potential trouble and risk of kidnap or something just as bad or worse...

India called off tour to Pakistan keeping in view the direct involvement of Pakistani born terrorists attack on Mumbai. It has nothing to do with double standards. In the cricketing world both boards need each other. But the cancellation of this tour was simply to respect people's feelings.

i didnt just meant indias tour cancellation dear friend...they hadnt had much test series because other nations are also calling off tour.my question is simple.it is dangerous to tour both india and pakistan as the safety of the touring players is not a gaurentee .but y countries are touring india but not pakistan.dont kid me by saying that we provide better security to the players than the pakistan government.as for feeling, dont u think the english players have families who might be worried that the attack took place at a hotel where the touring teams usually stays?
