I love desiderata. I kind of remind me of the things I take for granted and the world around me. It makes me realize important things in life. How about you mylotters? Have you read desiderata yourself? How does it affect you? Kindly share your thoughts on this. Love to hear it from you. Thanks

Hi! Do you mean the Desiderata by Max Ehrman? Yes, I have read it. I was a teenager when I fist read it from an issue of the Reader's Digest. It was a thick perforated page, a "frameable", so I took it out and kept it with me for the longest time. I lost that page, but not the verse, I kept in my mind, though there were long stretches when I forgot about it. Once or twice, in the more recent past, I have been remembering it and have thought of using it as reference point for a blog or at least one blog post though I haven't come around to doing that. I think the Desiderata is one beautiful self-affirmation.
Happy mylotting!

Hi NonaSaile, Yes the very same desiderata. It is indeed a beautiful self-afirmation. The first time I've read it was in my English class. From then on, I would look it up in the internet to read it all over again. Happy Holidays
