According to the Bible, we're not supposed to be celebrating Christmas.

Jeremiah 10: 2-5 states: "Thus says the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not; they must needs be borne, because thy cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good." So it appears that God is definitely against Christmas.

I don't have a christmas tree, but I celebrate CHRISTmas. Problem solved. Yeah, the tree is a pagan holiday. I've only been cursed by the darn Christmas tree. Previous times,Every year it was a fight when to get it out; I'd rather celebrate CHRISTmas.

Christmas is the holiday we celebrate to represent the day of Jesus' birth. It's up to you whether you want to celebrate it or not.

I read the bible but I don't use it to rule my life. So, I wouldn't know about what should and should not be celebrated. Cheers and Merry Christmas!!

I'm pretty sure you are correct at that. It seems like we "worship" a tree decorated with lights and ornaments. But, I celebrate Christmas as a tradition with my family. Not necessarily what it's supposed to be. I'm an atheist basically so it does not bother me that we are not supposed to celebrate Christmas. I just like getting together with family and distant relatives that I have not seen in quite awhile. =]
