Do your kids watch Family guy?

When my boyfriends kids are here, if they are occupied by something else we will throw family guy on but we put the mute on. Usually they are re ruins and you pretty much know what they are saying so it's just as good. Plus the kids are 4 and 6 they don't really follow it to much.
Do you let your kids watch family guy or shows like it?

Well I don't have kids yet, but I do let my nephews watch it. they mostly just like it for the slapstick humor. They don't really understand the political jokes or innuendos so I don't think it does any harm. There are worse shows that they could watch. I sort of thought twice before letting them watch Aqua teen Hunger Force because it is a little out there.

I would not like to allow them watch TV shows like this one, although I do enjoy this serial very much! Those jokes are more for adults, I doubt if all 6 year olds will understand those jokes.

My five year old says that Family Guy is his favorite cartoon. IMO, he is mature enough to handle the show, and he knows that it is just silly nonsense that is not to be repeated. I believe that not all kids should be allowed to watch it, since I think some kids don't understand the different between make believe and real. There's also that chance that they'll get in trouble at school for repeating a line they heard on the show.
