Is everyone on mylot an optimist?

Personally I have always been a realist, though the majority of the discussions I start are replied by people that seem to be too happy and positive, are you really being happy not to rock the boat or would you rather say something negative but are afraid of offending somebody? Personally I have always been partial to a good argument and love it when the boat is rocked makes things more interesting to hear what people actually think. What do you think?

I am a realist as well... for the most part, I seek out bearers of good news on here... the last thing I want to be doing in my spare time is reading a bunch of stuff that will make me sad or angry.
The biggest thing that I've noticed about mylot is that there are a ton of people on here that are surprised to learn that 'maybe it wasn't such a good idea to get involved with a married man/women' --- well, duh! Guess it's all part of this community though... I know MY eyes sure have been opened to REAL issues in other peoples lives... surprised as I may be, I guess this is the stuff that is happing to people all over the world!

Yeah I just don't like it when people say love is all we need etc etc obviously you need trust and negotiation also, there are twelve types of emotions which lead to love and if you over use the word it loses all meaning.

What it all comes down to is honesty, If people are lying to make others happy its not a bad thing its just not honest.
I like to be honest even if it hurts.
for example: My gf says do I look fat in this?
I would say yes if it really did. Why ask if you aren't prepared for the truth.

You see I would rather be told yeah you look fat in this than pretend I am not also, this site is to represent what people think why put the effort into lying about it?

Well the bunny usiyagi is actually a mess anger of God he is the spirit which grants the wishes of babies and children and drags any angels which come to earth for whatever reason back to the holy gates whether they like it or not. He is quite scary in the fact his expression never changes lol.
I wouldn't consider myself pessimistic either but I am fairly realistic in the fact that the world is all happiness and that aid works for less economically developed countries (trade works).

But I wouldn't start one if I really didn't think that way.
