Do you have a junk drawer?

I have had many junk drawers. Everytime I move I tell myself that I am not going to pile stuff in one draw in my kitchen but it never takes long till I have stuff that has nowhere to go and into one of the drawers it goes and before long it is filled to the top with anything you can imagine. Anytime I am looking for something I can usually find it in that drawer. I don't know why I can't seem to go without having one but for now it seems like a good fix for all the stuff I have that has nowhere to go.

My kitchen drawer has a little bit of everything in it. That's my junk drawer.

I am guilty of having a junk drawer. It is in my kitchen and contains many things like tape, paper and post-its, batteries, and an old camera. I'm surprised that my junk drawer is pretty organized for having so much junk.

well I have one but I think it's enough for my home

I do not have a junk drawer, but I know many people who do. I think it is much easier to find something when it has a specific drawer. This is why I try to give every item its own place. I understand that sometimes, there are those odd items that you really don't know what to do with, but eventually I figure out the best drawer for them. I like organization because I think it saves time when I am searching for an item, but I understand why junk drawers are created.

We have 3 junk drawers and these drawrs originally were not suppose to be junk drawers. Like I have a drawer in the hallway that I use for my personal girly things like face,body beauty products,curling iron,hair dryer & etc products I use, then here comes my husband with junk he doesn't know what to do with, then he crams this junk in my personally beauty girly drawer, then before I know it my beauty girly drawer is junked with battery's,cell phone chargers and everything else under the sun. I have a large cooking utincle drawer in the kitchen and my husband did the same thing, he started placing every type of kitchen junk in this drawer also. It really does bother me that he doesn't help me keep these drawers organized and we sometimes argue about these monster junk drawers he creates and a lot of this junk he doesn't even need to be saving, he could give away or trash.. He's a bit of a pack rat.

Yeah, we have about three of those in the kitchen, because when we got our kitchen upgraded we got so many new drawers that we had more than enough room for just one. It's very useful because if you need a button or something, you just might find one in there. It's a good place to keep things so you know where they are but they just don't belong anywhere else.

I have a few of those but only because I only have one or two of a specific item that it doesn't warrant a separate drawer or it just doesn't go into any other drawer.
