Would you like to live forever?

I just wanted to know who would like to live forever? Would you see this as a curse or something you actually would like to have happen to you? Oh and if you did want to live forever, your aging would stop at the age of 30 (to avoid being 300 years old and having skin so winkled, you can't make out any facial features lol)
I would love to live forever, as there is so much to see and do. With technology advancing so fast, the amount of things you can do are endless! There is so much to learn too, I would really like it. Sure, it has it's down sides such as watching loved ones around you die or age while you don't but overall, I see it as a benefit.

Taoist actually believe it's possible and claim that there were sages who were immortal, and one can live for 1,000 to 10,000 years, if they wanted to. They say say once you're one with the universe, you can live for as long as you want and once you're so satiated with life, you can ascend to heaven in broad day light.
That's what I want to do. Better get back to that cave and start meditating.....ahummmmmmm. lol ;p

Who are the Taoists? I never heard of them but what they claim they can do is really interesting. Is there any evidence in this? Do they have members of their group who are extremely old? (much older than thought possible). If so, why aren't they in the guinness book of records? lol

Yeah, I would like to live forever as well...sounds great when you think about it. But, I also know for a fact that things may change when your already there, like when it really happens to you. Like you said, you watch your love ones die. Which is sad...cause you get left behind a lot of times.
It'll probably be cool if my boyfriend would live forever as well. That'll make it more fun. hehe
