A Eulogy for a Friend

A friend asked me to write a eulogy for her. I thought it was for real until I reached the end of her message. It was for her project. I was relieved. I thought that she was really into committing suicide. And she was just preparing me for that day to come. Well, thank God it was not how I preconceived it. I did what she requested from me. I wrote how she was in my life and the experiences with her that I won't remember. It was fun doing a eulogy. It made me reminisce the good and the bad things that happened, meaning, the things that happened in our friendship for eleven years. It was fun because she got to read it. At least, it's not too late to say those words and she will be able to know how she is in my life. I think writing like this to our friends is a good thing to do. Let them know how important they are in your life.

That's a pretty freakin' twisted project, having people ask their friends to write eulogies! Sounds like her teacher needs psychological help...
