O K really mean 0 (zero) killed

during war the troops returning from war will indidare 0 (zero) killed ... which eventually became overused OK to indicate all is alright
how true is this

Wow that was really cool..i didnt know that the word OK had such a great background behind it anyway it had a nice and beautiful background and i think it served as a good word before rather than now because before it was used for no deaths but now its used everywhere..thanks for the info...happy mylotting...

.. i guess it is cool too ...
if we are eating "non-vegetarian" food and someone asks how it tastes ... we can never respond "OK" as the animals are already killed
