Do you make slide shows or print photos ?

I have never been able to get into video, but I shoot a lot of pictures and print them, many in scrap-book style, which pleases many people, as well as leading to a lot of sales of the individual prints contained within the layouts. Slide shows are also very popular and I make a lot, using a variety of software. I always thought Photoshow was the best, despite its quirky interface and dreadful memory overheads: many of its transitions and effects just can't be obtained in other packages, and it included thousands of royalty free music, clip-art, backgrounds etc. Since Roxio acquired it recently, it has been dumbed down to the point where it isn't worth buying, and they no longer support the original version. I suspect that they will be popping up with a "new" premium version before long (IE the original V4) at a premium price! In the meantime, there is ProShow Gold, which is quite comprehensive and produces very impressive results quite quickly.

I don't print photos any longer since I have bought a digital camera. I prefer to store them on CD in a video format and watche them later.
