O.K., I've got a snow challenge for everyone. Let's see who wins. I'm from the Boston area and it has been snowing since Friday. Since then there is approximately 1 foot of snow on the ground. Just about to got out and shovel, again!! AND, it is still snowing. So, can anyone beat that? If not, still post what city and how much snow, it should be fun to see where everyone is from. Better yet, post anywhere you are from. Us snowbound folks would be envious to hear from you that are in warm climates to see what the weather is like!!!!

We hardly ever have snow in Holland. We used to have it, but the last couple of years if it snows it doesn't stay on the ground but melts right away. It's a shame, it used to be a normal scenery here. I had the luck to be able to play in the snow as a kid, but that is rare nowadays. It's been over 5 years since we had snow and that was about 1 inch thick or less. And man, were we happy! . I'd love to go somewhere where there is thicker snow, for a holiday or something. It has something magical in the holiday season! Welcome to mylot, and fun discussion you started!

thanks for posting cyberfluf (cute alias name). As much as it is a pain to have to go out and shovel, you couldn't be more correct, it is magical during the holiday's, especially when you see the Christmas blinking through the snow, absolutely beautiful.

I guess having to shovel a lot can be a pain in the rear.. we don't have the snow here but we do have the slippery roads and ice; so basicly the things that come along which aren't fun! We don't have strong enough frost for the streams to get frozen solid enough to skate on them. It's a bit sad, but I'll keep hoping we'll have a little snow this year! . Thanks for your descriptive response, you are doing well .

I am in the midwest. At this point No snow! Thank goodness for that. But it is bitterly cold. I think 8 degrees is a bit much. Hopefully my furnace can keep up!

I just saw a clip of the KC Chiefs game and it said with the windchill is about nine degrees below. One word brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Just do me a favor and make sure they freeze the fish, the Patriot's need them to loose. The Pat's are playing Arizona and winning 21, zip. I guess those Arizonians aren't use to playing in this weather, LOL.
