As has been said before, it is probably down to a good metabolism. Some people are able to burn those calories faster than others.

I would so love to have that problem. Unless she has a medical problem, it still all boils down to that basic equation. Calories in have to be more than calories out to gain weight. She is either not eating as much as you think or she is so active that she burns off a lot of calories. DH is the same way but he has a lot of nervous energy. Besides, exercising every day for about 40 minutes, he rarely if ever sits down. I have to fight with him to get him to even sit down for dinner. He'd rather stand and eat in the kitchen.

hi. maybe your friend is eating a very balanced appetite. Let her/him eat more carbo and fatty foods. For sure it will work.

Some people have great metabolisms. They're ability to break down and get rid of waste is just superior. However, almost everyone with time loses their youthful metabolism, I'm sure she'll put on some weight in her later years to go with her age.
