myLot Signatures?

I agree with you, I think having a siggy would be a nice gesture for myLot to say thank you to all of its members, other than the pay. Though we can link to ONE website in our profile, I often see other's profiles that have banners and buttons pasted in the post section that appears on their home page. I am wondering how to do this. Additionally, I have never been "irritated" by personal signatures, so long as they aren't long and full of graphics. Some of those merely take up space for no apparent reason except for self expression, which I am all for, but this forum allows that to an extent...self expression. I started to mess around with the area that holds my posts that I have created when I go to my profile and see that there is an edit option, which is how I am assuming you would put in more links. I cannot for the life of me remember what the code is to post a link, without all the http://blah....com or net or whatever. Many times you can copy a button and paste it, in other forums, at least. Perhaps you could do it this way here. All the forums I have been involved in, though this is the first PPP site I have become a member of, and now there is one other, but they all have, with the exception of myLot, allowed their members to promote their websites. Do you have one (a website to promote? Or did you just want a personalized siggy?) If you have a site you can send the information within a PM, I would gladly entertain the thought of looking at it, if you would like to share it with me. If your talking about those image signatures and text signatures which get appended on every post... unfortunately, myLot doesn't allow that. This is a different forum type.

You can sign yourself however you wish just as long as it is not a link. A link would cause deletions but if you say something like 'happy posting' or whatever there is nothing wrong with it. Just as long as you are not promoting anything.

No, I don't think that would be a great idea. It would be like everyone would have a chance to annoy others. I never liked Mylot signature kind of thing

mylot signature? why do you want a signature in mylot (curious)? i don't think you can have a signature in here.
