On April 6, 2008 there was a major battle in the Shok Valley in Afghanistan, which is a major insurgent strong hold. The operation was a joint operation with A Special Forces Team working with the Afghan Commandos they trained. During the battle more than 150 insurgents were killed. Every member of the Joint Team were wounded. Silver Stars were awarded to 10 men of the Special Forces Team in a special ceremony, the largest since Vietnam. You can read the story at the link below. http://www.army.mil/-news/2008/12/15/15160-fierce-battle-above-shok-valley-earns-silver-stars/ This story did not make the news because it did not fit the story line of the media the one they want to show how American Soldiers are dying in vain for nothing. A search of CNN, NBC, and the New York Times and a search "Shok Valley in Afghanistan" returned no results. AP reported the story of the Medals Ceremony but it seems that no major news media saw it as news worth enough to pick up the story. When is the national Media going to tell us the truth about the War on Terror? When are they going to give the success of the Military the same coverage they give the soldiers that make a mistake. The media has an agenda and they want to tell us only the news that supports their agenda. They are delivering nothing but propaganda for their cause.

The media will never tell the whole story because they do in fact have an agenda... and the actual facts do not line up with the propaganda that the media is spreading. A lot more people are now seeing this, and as a result the media is beginning to have some financial difficulty, which is a good thing if we ever hope to be told the truth about anything. All the media has done was manage to get an unqualified and ineligible usurper elected... if they had done their job and gave the same amount of attention to the 0bamunist as they did to Palin, 0bama would never have made it past the primaries.

The media is the next industry to ask for a bailout. Then they will be right where they want to be.... a Government owned propaganda mill.

I agree with you, gone are the days when the media was impartial, I think whom ever is running the newspapers or news media only want what they believe put forward or maybe it is really run by big businesses.

If it were run by big business it woulod not be going broke. It would do what it had to do to attract viewers.
