Are you being a positive force in someone's life?

Perhaps you've seen how an upward spiral can happen as you build a healthy lifestyle. With momentum and small, but consistent, healthy actions, success comes easier and easier until results start to exceed the effort you put into it. Well, the same thing can happen when it comes to being a positive force for others. One small action leads to another, which can lead to many. Your actions may inspire others to do the same, with far-reaching results that completely outweigh that first effort. You'll probably have no idea how much of a total effect your actions will have. But that kindness will often be paid back two-, three- or even tenfold. If not from the person you helped, then from someone further down the "kindness" chain. So go try it out! Do a kind thing for the next person you meet, and see if you don't get a positive return.

i can say that i am more often a positive force in someone else's life, than in my own life.

yes, i also believe in "paying it forward". when we help a person, hopefully that person will also help another person and it starts the chain. i also believe in the "law of attraction". When we look at things positively, we give out positive energy to the universe, and the universe gives it back to us.

hi,msedge! u start a good discussion. i admit that i'm not always the leader who do the postive actions but i know this kinda action will affect many other person and get lots of positive returns either as a leader or a receiver. for example, i often take bus to go to work and home..during the rush hour, there are always crowded on the bus so many people have to stand all the time.its polite to offer your seats to the olds and pregnant women. sometimes people pretend not to see these person and don't wanna stand up to offer his seat until one kind person do it first..then there will be more ones to help the olds or pregnant women...i mean, sometimes we could be a positive force in other's life and get lots of good returns..

I once lived a life of being a pessimistic behavior it it because with the people in my environment. I felt bad about that because those are the people I was expecting to drag me in a positive matter but they never did. Instead of being more pessimistic, those people who tried to drag me down served to be a challenge to me and be a positive person especially when my husband came into my life. I became more and more optimistic in everything I do. I wanted to do the same with him and other people. It is nice to share the positive force to someone.

I really believe in the positive chain reaction, I am trying very hard to fight against a friend negativity at the moment, but I am afraid he is is own worst enemy but I am not going to give up, I think my positivity will win over his negativity one day...

i am an optimist and i always would like to exude positive aura over a lot of things and with the people around me. at times we may act negatively and we are not aware that we bring that aura to others around us. so us much as possible i have to act positively so that those that i have meet would do that same thing with the people around them. having a positive disposition in your dealings with others would lead to a positive chain reaction. great topic. happy mylotting.

Hi ms! Most of my times I am there to help other people whether a close friends or not , its just sad sometimes that being so genuine was just taken for granted.Very disappointing actually, I just hope that they will get inspired of what I'd done to their lives.

I have a friend that is a really good friend, because she does a lot of kind things. But I don't think she notices. What she does makes me want to be a better friend, so I try to help her out as much as I can. Now, I'll go out and be kind to others!

You know you are right. I used to inspire so much people to play guitar and be fit. But every time someone came to me I would help them for a while and then forget about them. I think I'll try to be a positive role model again.
