have you had kidney stones? how did you manage it?

hi all! i was diagnosed with a single kidney stone lodged in my left ureter. it is somewhere along the tube now, because i think or i can feel that it is moving down. anyway, it is quite hard to manage it for me because i am pregnant and each medication or remedy or therapy has to be carefully considered just so it would not harm the baby. anyway, how about you? have you experienced having kidney stones? did you feel excruciating, like stabbing pain, in your sides? because i had that. please feel free to share your experience here and how you remedied your situation. thank you all so much and God bless you! please help us pray for my speedy recovery! merry christmas to you all! :-)
