Forest Gump is one of the best movies ever?

this is my first best movie ever..i remember when i was young i always wanna watch this movie through video tapes and when dvd's came i bought a copy of DVD for myself..love this movie so much

it is a good movie i enjoyed it tom hanks played a good part in that movie forrest gump.

Tom Hanks was so memorable in Forest Gump. What a fabulous and touching movie. This is one of my favorites. He did such an awesome job and is truly a masterpiece. Life truly is like a box of chocolates!

While I wouldn't say it is the best, I have no problems saying that it is one of the best. The movie is absolutely brilliant, from the conception, to the writing, the actors/actresses, and even the soundtrack.

I know what you mean. I like watching it as those were "my" years - in high school. When all those things he did were "in" or started. I dont' remember them as I was rather sheltered, no tv and all that, but I do remember them and smile every time. IT is enjoyable to see how it is protrayed in the show like with the Watergate tapes - he saw the light and called the police or however that went (haven't watched it in awhile!). Sure could have happened that way! And he was always nothing but common sense. I didn't understand the running across the country for 3 years - never said how he ate,slept or changed clothes... all that ,but the rest was enjoyable, historical and very heart-felt.

It does have the power to move people. And I always find something new to see when I watch it. It is in the top 100 that is for certain.

Yes, I consider Forrest Gump as one of the best Hollywood movies ever. I found it funny as well as poignantly sad, very thought and emotion-provoking throughout, actually. Hi! Welcome to mylot, happy posting and Season's Greetings!
