Note: (The mentioned site is available international) Good news my co-Filipinos, for almost a year time of finding a way to cash-out my paypal money, now I have discovered a great way of having it cash out. That is through xoom. Last week, I was surfing about a way to transfer paypal to alertpay account, but it seems there is no reliable site that would do this, then I found an article that said, using smart money would help me become a verified member of the site, because the card has a master card logo, I applied online and get the card last Friday, then tried to link it on paypal by Saturday, the card was denied. So, again I surf the net to gather information, and find out, if somebody has tried it, and was redirected to a forum, it said that smart money cannot be used to verify the account. But a site called XOOM was recommended. I tried it yesterday, and cash out my money to my bank account, to my surprise, in less than 30 minutes, the money was completely transferred to my account. It was really amazing. Well the charge could be expensive, but I think it is worth it. I was charge $5.50 dollars for the transaction. Aside from transferring it to a bank account, you can also opt to receive the money by delivery or through Cebuana Lhuillier. What you need to do first, it get an account there and confirmed your email. After that you can start sending your money from paypal to your bank account/otthrough other means available. If you have not yet find a way of cashing out your paypal money, try Xoom. Happy mylotting!

Hi. I am a filipino as well. I have an Eon card from unionbank.I linked it in my paypal account. it is actually a debit card. All you have to do is to go to in unionbank. you just have to fill out the application form. You have to bring the SSS number and a valid ID with you. The processing will take two weeks. After two weeks, you will asked to come back , to get the card and you just have to pay 350 pesos as the annual membership fee. The card is really good.

May I ask, so it is not required to actually have an account at Union Bank to apply for an Eon card? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. But as of now, i am not capable of applying for an EON card. it would be expensive for me because I live far from Union bank branch. The nearest would be Davao. If I go there, I will need 2000 or 3000 to cover up the expenses, that is just for applying, and another same amount for getting the card. So i will wait, until the application would be available online. And besides I hate to traveling especially if alone.

Hello insomni, Well good for you, because you have credit card. But for those who don't have a credit card, it is very difficult to cash out funds. We need a third party to do this or else, the funds will be unused until we can get credit card. Although, Filipinos are already allowed to transfer funds to their bank account, it is still a prerequisite to link a credit card, as far as I know. But it is not easy to apply for a credit card. There would be lot of requirements and your ability to pay would be check. thanks for the reply. happy mylotting!

great. thank you for sharing this with us and i am pleased that they have servies for china too. i just send my paypal money wired to my bank acount and it cost me more than US50. if i have used Xoon, i would have save half of that amount. I am pleased to know that now one more option is available to me instead of depending on paypal to wire me the money and earning such a hefty fees from me. now i can use Xoom and incur lower charges.

Watch out for XOOM, they will start a transaction claiming money transfer in minutes then at the end of the transaction, once they have all your bank account information say 4 to 5 days. It is a scam so they can keep your money for a few days earning interest. I called XOOM customer service within minutes after such a transaction and canceled the transfer. I was assured the transfer was canceled. Then shortly after that I closed my XOOM account. 3 days later they took the money out of my checking account causing a check to bounce and did not return the money until a week later. Stay away from XOOM. I closed my checking account so they could not steal from it any more.
